HOW LONG DOES THE AUDIO MATERIAL NEED TO BE?
Sound bites are very easy and convenient to record. Sound bites will be accepted if they meet the following criteria: They are in a range from 30 to 120 seconds for current news, public service announcements, group or event meeting dates, calendar events, etc. Also pertinent and important information to the freethought/atheist cause such as what your group is about what is does is also very, very acceptable. Furthermore, sound bites up to 5 minutes as part of a Freethought Radio series are accetable and welcome.

For an hourly show total recorded time nust be 45-50 minutes in length recorded in 7-10 minute segments. At the end of each segment make an announcement that you'll be back after these messages or something simular to make an easy transition for your listeners. You may also want to announce when you come back from commercial also.

DOES MY SHOW HAVE TO BE LIVE?
No. When you pre-record a show it can be edited and redone as many times as it takes, until you think it's just right!
